Day 1:
4:00 PM – Creole Parade
The festival will kick off with a vibrant Creole parade, departing from the administration office at La Passe. Floats adorned with colorful costumes, traditional designs, and lively music will create a captivating procession, as they make their way to L'Union Estate in front of the iconic Grann Kaz.
6:30 PM – Official Opening Ceremony
Join us for the official launch of the Creole Festival, where local dignitaries and cultural ambassadors will welcome everyone to this grand celebration.
7:00 PM – Performance by Elimination Band
Enjoy the sounds of Creole music performed by "Elimination Band," a talented group of students from La Digue schools which promises to set the tone for an evening of lively entertainment.
8:00 PM – Défilé Lanmod (Fashion Show)
Take in the beauty and creativity of Creole fashion with a runway show. Models will showcase attire that are usually worn here on the island for different occasions.
9:00 PM – Traditional Dance by Masezarin
Be captivated by the rhythm and energy of the Masezarin dance troupe as they perform Moutya. Accompanied by the powerful beat of drums and set against the glow of a bonfire, this performance will transport you to the heart of our cultural roots.
10:00 PM – Bal Kreol with Band Tsunami & Joseph Sinon
End the night with an exciting Bal Kreol, one of the most beloved components of Creole celebrations. Dance the night away to the lively sounds of local band Tsunami and renowned artist Joseph Sinon until sunrise!

Day 2: Rendezvous Diguois – A Day of Culture & Tradition
Organized by the Tourism Department, this day will be filled with activities that celebrate the flavors, talents, and traditions of La Digue.
7:00 AM – Creole Bazaar
Start your day by exploring the Creole Bazaar, where local vendors offer a wide variety of island produce and homemade delights. You’ll find fresh pork and beef cuts, tropical fruits, vegetables, and indulgent treats like crispy pork cracklings, traditional black pudding, sweet cassava cakes and many others.
10:00 AM – Art Exhibition by Local Artists
Stroll through an inspiring art exhibition that showcases the creativity and craftsmanship of local talents from La Digue. From beautiful paintings to handmade crafts, this display highlights the artistic soul of the island.
11:00 AM – Discover Our Creole Cuisine
Get ready to indulge in an array of mouth-watering Creole dishes from various food stalls. Savor the traditional flavors of the islands, from curries, grilled seafood, cassava and breadfruit based dishes, and more.
3:00 PM – Traditional Games Performances
Take a step back in time and enjoy a showcase of traditional games that have been passed down through generations.
7:00 PM – Défilé and Performance by Koustik Band
Another défilé featuring younger children dressed in colorful attire that reflects the creativity of Creole fashion. Following the parade, get ready for lively entertainment from Koustik Band, who will fill the air with melodies of Creole music. Their performance is sure to get everyone moving and grooving!
10:00 PM – Disco Kreol (By L’Union Estate)
As the night falls, it’s time for an exciting Disco Kreol! Join DJ Brandon and DJ Bayo for a thrilling Creole-style party under the stars.
